Nico Gourdon’s love for the hospitality business started about forty years ago during a trip to Capri, Italy, with his parents when he was twelve years old; that fateful trip opened his eyes to the beauty of fine dining and even better service, and that was it, it was love at first sight.
At fifteen he entered one of the most prestigious Hotel Schools in France, Hotel School Zénatti in Marseille. while training for two years at the very boutique four-star Hotel du Pigonnet in Aix en Provence.
Upon turning eighteen Nico moved to Paris searching for more experiences, and for the next six years he worked in the most respected places in the capital: Hotel Meurice, Hotel Lutetia, Hotel Intercontinental, as well as the famous Brasserie Pied De Cochon.
Belleville is a story about the passion for life. It is a journey to discover ourselves through food & wine. It is an open door to share flavors & aromas in a place where the locals & the travelers visiting can live their best lives.
